In 2020, Darren Ypey and Chris Davis had spent two decades between them watching housing associations lose time and money to the same recurring problem. So they built the specialist team that housing providers were clearly missing.

How we got here
2020
The Idea
Founded in June. In December, we sign our first void energy contract with EDF — a first of its kind for the supplier.
2021
Proof
LiveWest (34k properties) signs in January. Autumn energy crisis hits, we add 30 clients and grow the team.
2022
Scales
Sanctuary and Sovereign agreements take us to 160k properties. Managed count doubles.
2023
National footprint
600k properties across 60+ clients. New Sawbridgeworth HQ. Multi-year OVO and British Gas deals.
Today
1.2M properties across 100+ UK clients. Still the only fully managed void energy service of its kind.
